What 5,255 Taught Us: A Year of Justice, Love & Legacy in Motion: Texas‑Rooted. Globally Resonant. Justice in Motion.

In 2025, WWX17 served 5,255 neighbors across Fort Worth, Arlington, and Tarrant County — the highest number in our 10‑year history. But the story isn’t the number. The story is what the number taught us about justice, dignity, and the systems our communities are still navigating.

Every touchpoint — every diaper, every pair of socks, every wellness class, every outreach moment — revealed something deeper about what it means to build a grief‑informed, justice‑rooted movement.

This is what 5,255 taught us.

🔥 1. Dignity Is a System, Not a Gesture

From Wesley’s Diaper Pantry to our 10th Annual Give‑Away, the lesson was clear:

Dignity must be designed, not assumed.

In 2025, we distributed:

  • 33,000 diapers, pull‑ups, and adult incontinence supplies

  • 15,100 pairs of Bombas socks

  • School‑ready essentials to 1,875 students

  • Heat‑relief support to 525 neighbors

These weren’t random acts of kindness. They were intentional systems of care built to reduce shame, restore agency, and meet people where they are.

💛 2. Community Is the Engine — 2,112 Hours Proved It

Our volunteers and MSW interns showed us that movements grow when people show up with consistency.

In 2025:

  • 86 volunteers

  • 8 MSW interns

  • 2,112 total volunteer hours

  • $73,476 in economic value

Every hour was a vote for justice.

Every hour was a refusal to let our neighbors stand alone.

🌍 3. Our Work Is Local — and Now, Global

In October 2025, WWX17 became an internationally recognized NGO.

This milestone taught us that:

  • Our BluePrint — Justice, Love, Legacy — is scalable

  • Our grief‑informed model resonates beyond Texas

  • Our systems can be replicated across borders

We are Texas‑rooted, but our resonance is global.

🌟 4. Legacy Is Not Memory — It’s Motion

WWX17 was built from the lives of:

  • Wesley Pearce Brown

  • Waymond Patrick Brown II

  • Kristopher Xavier Brown

Their stories are not memorials.

They are architectures — shaping how we serve, how we design care, and how we build futures where dignity is non‑negotiable.

5,255 reminded us that legacy is not what we leave behind.

Legacy is what we build forward.

🔧 5. Systems Change Happens One Program at a Time

Your 2025 programs taught us where the gaps are — and where the breakthroughs live.

Wesley’s Diaper Pantry

  • 165 families

  • 132 children + 33 adults

  • 8 high‑need zip codes

SitFitness (Weekly Wellness)

  • 460 hours delivered

  • 1,840 participant touchpoints

10th Annual Give‑Away

  • 625 neighbors served

  • Congressman Marc Veasey returned after 10 years

Shoe Drive

  • 992 pounds collected

  • 24,800 lbs CO₂ displaced

  • 413,000 gallons of water saved

These aren’t programs — they’re systems of care in motion.

✊🏽 6. The Lesson of 5,255

The lesson is simple:

When Justice is designed, dignity becomes possible.

When Love is structural, community becomes powerful.

When Legacy is activated, movements become unstoppable.

2025 wasn’t just a year of service.

It was a year of systems, strategy, and survival honored with intention.

And 2026 will build on every step we took.

🧡 To everyone who stood with us — volunteers, partners, sponsors, families, and friends — thank you for helping us build a movement where dignity is non‑negotiable and justice is in motion.

We are just getting started.
